If a scheduler is activated on a client, outgoing calls can be scheduled and controlled by the agent as well as by the administrator. For example, this function can be used to track, assign and process callback requests.

---

## Functions

The ACD Scheduler offers the following setting options:

| | |
| --- | --- |
| **Automatic call setup** | If automatic call setup is enabled, scheduled calls are automatically initiated at the desired time and offered to the designated agents. |
| **Postprocessing**
** ** | Scheduled outgoing calls can also be granted a post-processing time. The duration of the post-processing is defined at the client. |
| **Process calls in queues first** | If this option is enabled, scheduled calls, which can also be delivered to inbound agents, will only be processed after any remaining calls in the queue have been handled. |
| **Consider inbound agents** | It can be set whether scheduled calls are delivered to inbound agents. As with any outbound call, the agent is called first. Only when the agent has answered the call, the connection to the destination is established. |
| **Consider outbound agents** | If this option is enabled, agents who are in the outbound mode of the ACD are taken into account. |
| **Agent selection strategy** | If both options (inbound and outbound agents) are activated, the agent selection strategy can be defined:
- Inbound and outbound agents have equal rights.
- Out- before inbound agents
- In- before outbound agents |
| **Redeliver unsuccessful calls** | If the destination of the scheduled call was not reached in the set time period, you can set here whether the time period for the call attempt should be extended. |
| **Max. Number of further delivery attempts** | This value defines the number of further call attempts if no successful call could take place in the originally scheduled time. |
| **Max. Period of further delivery attempts** | In addition to the number of attempts, the time period in which the call attempts are made can be set here. |
