As an agent you have the possibility to call other agents or even a group.

### How to start an internal outgoing call

- In the outbound telephony workspace, select the queue through which you want to start the call.

> 📝 **Note:** If your administrator has set a default queue and you agree with it, you do not need to select a queue. However, if you want the calls to appear to come from a different queue, you must select the appropriate queue from the drop-down list.

- You now select a number or an agent as the destination. You can also enter a number or search for an entry of an agent, a group or from the phone book.

> 📝 **Note:** Only agents that are currently logged in and available are listed. If the target agent is no longer available at the time of the dialing attempt, the call fails.

- To start the call, click:

> 📝 **Note: **When you make an outbound call using the built-in WebRTC softphone, you are marked as "busy" and therefore cannot handle inbound calls or other inputs. If the agent you're calling answers your call, they're also marked as "busy" so they can't take other contact center calls during an internal call.
