If you are part of a group that is assigned to more than one channel, you can choose to be available only for one or more specific communication channels, such as email only. If you change your channel availability, you will no longer be automatically assigned items from other channels unless your manager overrides your decision.

For example, if you set your availability to "Available for email only", no incoming calls will be assigned to you until you either change your status back to "Available for calls" or your manager changes your availability to "Accept calls".

> 📝 **Note: **You can only set your availability per channel yourself if your administrator has configured it that way. It is also possible that your team leader overrides the changes you made due to current events and request volume.
