### How to link a Gmail account with telegra Contact Center:

- Set up an app password for the Gmail account by following the instructions at [Sign in with App Passwords - Gmail Help](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/185833?hl=de).
- In the Administrator Portal, go to ***Email → Email Server ***and configure the parameters for the email server as follows:

| | |
| --- | --- |
| Authentification | Basic |
| Password | The app password from Gmail |
| Servertype and Settings | **POP3**
- Host: [pop.gmail.com](http://pop.gmail.com)
- Port: 995
- TLS: activated
**IMAP**
- Host: [imap.gmail.com](http://imap.gmail.com)
- Port: 993
- TLS: activated
**SMTP**
- Host: [smtp.gmail.com](http://smtp.gmail.com)
- Port: 587
- TLS: deactivated
> 📝 **Note: **If TLS is disabled, STARTTLS is used as the default. |

> ℹ️ TLS (Transport Layer Security) can also be referred to as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). It is the same protocol. TLS is the modern (improved) version of SSL. With these protocols, the session begins encrypted. With STARTTLS, the session starts unencrypted and then switches to encrypted before any authentication is performed.
