Administrators can define possible callback periods (call slots) with a fixed number of callbacks allowed in each period.

If this feature is enabled, callers who want a callback instead of waiting on hold can be announced a list of possible time slots in which they want to be contacted.

Administrators must have the permission ***Call Slots: Modify*** permission to manage call slots.

### Defining call slots

Click on ***Call Handling → Call Slots*** in the menu bar. A list of already defined call slots is displayed.

### This is how you add a Call Slot:

- Click **Add**.
  The New Call Slot page is displayed.

- Enter the name of the call slot (up to 100 characters).
- Enter a short description for the call slot (up to 250 characters).
- To add time slots, click **Add** under Call Slot List, then select the time and day(s) for the time slot, as well as the maximum number of callers who can be called back in that time slot. (This allows you to control how many callbacks can be made and when. For example, during busy times you can allow only a small number of callbacks, while during quieter times more time slots can be allocated).
- Repeat this process for each time slot you want to offer callers.

- Click **Add**. The new call slot is added to the list of already created call slots.

> ⚠️ - **Note:** To offer callback slots to callers, both callbacks and call slots must be enabled for the corresponding incoming call queue, and the corresponding call slot list must be selected.
