Admins can create and change announcements quickly and easily at various points in the contact center using the integrated text-to-speech function.

### Create and modify a text-to-speech announcement

- Create a new announcement by clicking **Add**.
- Activate the Text-to-Speech checkbox.
- Select the language in which the text should be spoken. At the moment you can choose between English and German.
- Select whether the voice should be male or female.
- Set the speaking rate of the voice that will be used for the announcement. The range is from -100% to + 100%. A positive value indicates a faster speaking speed, while a negative value indicates a slower speed.
- Now enter the text that will be spoken.

> ⚠️ **Note: **When entering the text, please make sure not to use umlauts and special characters except ? and ! For example, please write "UE" instead of "Ü".

- You can listen to the result at any time by clicking the play button.
