A call flow usually starts with the inbound call node, because this represents the start of the call flow and also allows you to access the call-leg (call parts) information.

The following branches can be set:

| **Branch** | **Number?** | **Description** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Next | 1 | This branch is mandatory. |

### The following parameters can be set for the node:

| **Parameter** | **Number?** | **Type** | **Description** |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| *Options* | Optional parameters for inbound calls |
| Inbound Call | 0 or 1 | CallLeg | An optional variable in which the incoming call-leg (the A-part) is stored so that it can be accessed later in the Call Flow. |
| Call ID | 0 or 1 | String | An optional variable in which the call identifier is stored so that it can be accessed later in Call Flow. |
| Calling Number | 0 or 1 | String | An optional variable in which the calling number is stored so that it can be accessed later in the call flow.<br>If the CLI is restricted, it is set to the value CLIR. |
| CLI Restricted | 0 or 1 | Boolean | An optional variable that determines whether the CLI is restricted or not. |
| Service Number | 0 or 1 | String | An optional variable in which the service number is stored so that it can be accessed later in the Call Flow. |
| Service Number Name | 0 or 1 | String | An optional variable in which the name of the service number is stored so that it can be accessed later in the Call Flow. |
| Overdial | 0 or 1 | String | An optional variable in which the overdial (the digits dialed in addition to a service number) is stored so that it can be accessed later in the Call Flow. |
| Auto Answer | 0 or 1 | Boolean | By default, calls are automatically answered immediately (this parameter is set to true).<br>If auto-answer is disabled (set to false), calls can only be answered if one of the following is true:<br>- The contact center is explicitly instructed to do this with an AnswerCall node in the call flow.
- The called subscriber answers the call
before any call interaction (DTMF key press or voice recognition).<br>**Note: **If required, this parameter can be set to **User-configurable** so that it can take a pre-configured value. |
| Connect Media | 0 or 1 | Boolean | An optional setting that determines whether or not early media (for example, dial tones or announcements) is attempted to be played to the caller.<br>If this parameter is not present or is set to true (default), an attempt is made to play early media to the caller immediately.<br>To prevent this, set the parameter to *false*.<br>**Note: **If required, this parameter can be set to User-configurable so that it can take a pre-configured value. |
| Schedule Callbacks > *Callback Queue* | 0 or 1 | Outbound Queue | An optional setting that determines which outbound queue scheduled callbacks should be placed in.<br>If callbacks are allowed and a caller hangs up before speaking to an agent (an "abandoned" call), a callback is automatically created for the agent and placed in this outbound queue.<br>Callbacks are not created for disconnected calls from suppressed numbers.<br>Callbacks are removed for dropped calls if a call from the same number has been connected since the dropped call or if a successful call has been made to the number since the dropped call.<br>**Note:** If required, this parameter can be set to **User-configurable** so that it can take a pre-configured value. |

CallLeg = Parts of the call

String = Character string

Boolean = Truth value, *true* or *false*
