### How to configure GDPR-compliant call consent for call recordings

- Select the **After Opt-out record Agent only** check box to allow recording to continue on the agent's side of the call if the caller does not want to be recorded.

> 📝 **Note: **This check box is only displayed if both audio directions are to be recorded. This setting is used for all recordings of a call, including automatic recordings and recordings initiated by supervisors or agents.

- Select the opt-in announcement or use the text-to-speech feature that is played to the caller. The additional opt-in audio may describe the DTMF options available to the caller to either allow or deny the recording.

Example: "To allow recording, press 1. To deny recording, press #".

- To listen to the audio file, click the Play button.
- In the **Delay after playing audio **field, define the number of seconds within which the caller can either confirm or decline. If no selection is made, this is considered an opt-out.
- Now define a key to allow recording to enable recording (Opt-In). Possible keys are 1 to 9 or # or *.
- Now specify a key to deny recordings (Opt-Out). Possible keys are 1 to 9 or # or *.
- Click either **Add** or **Save**.
