- Enter the **email address** of the user account (up to 100 characters). The email address must be unique within a given company and cannot be used more than once.
- *Optional*: Enter the **Username** that will be used to log in to this user account (up to 100 characters). All Unicode characters are allowed, including spaces and accented letters. The username must be unique within a specific company.
- To log in to this user account using the email address instead of the username, select the **Use email address as username** check box.
- *Optional:* Optional: Set the **password** for the user account (up to 100 characters). All Unicode characters are allowed, including spaces and accented letters. This is used in conjunction with the username to authenticate the user when logging in to the system..
- Check "**Send password reset link to user**" to specify that an invitation link is emailed to the user to log in to their account and set their own password.
- *Optional*: Enter the user's **first name** and** last name**. Each field can contain up to 100 characters. All Unicode characters are allowed, including spaces and accented letters.

> 📝 **Note:** Each user account can be associated with one or more user roles.

- So you select the user groups to which this user belongs and specify the respective skills:
  - Click on the small gear icon (Note: The user account must first be associated with one or more user roles before user groups can be selected).
  - Check the box for the appropriate user group.
  - Set the skill level of the user within the group by clicking on the corresponding star. For each group, the skill level of a user within that group can be rated on a scale from 1 star (lowest value) to 5 stars (highest value). When a call reaches the top of the queue and agents are available, the call is routed to the available agent with the highest skill level. If no agents are available in the skill group, the call is routed to the next highest priority group.
  - Repeat the previous two steps for each group to which this user belongs. Each user can belong to one or more groups.
  - Uncheck the corresponding checkbox to deselect a group. All skill level stars will be removed for this group as well.
  - Click **OK**.
- *Optional*: Now select a **profile** from the drop-down list to be assigned to this user account (if available).
- From the drop-down list, select a default outgoing call role to be assigned to this user account. This defines the default queue from which outgoing calls from this user will appear to originate. When the user makes an outgoing call, the number from the default queue is used without the user having to confirm it.
- Specify the unique IVR PIN (between 3 and 6 digits) for this user account. If there is no Internet access, this agent can use IVR dialog to log in to his account and set his status.
- To specify that this agent or supervisor is automatically available to answer incoming calls using the WebRTC softphone integrated into the agent portal, check the ***Answer automatically when using WebRTC ***checkbox.
- To specify that login is locked for this user account, select the Locked check box.
- Click **Add**.
